Bartlett will do an inspection of your roof and based on our experience we will let you know if you have enough storm damage (wind or hail) to be likely to get your roof replacement paid for by your insurance company other than your deductible which you will be responsible to pay. We will also attend the adjuster meeting to
make sure the adjuster recognizes the damage done to your roof and then we will give you and the insurance company our estimate for what it will cost to do the work that is needed. We do our best to make the entire process as easy and hassle free as possible for our customers!

Regardless of your roof’s age, your insurance company is insuring your property!So don’t think that just because your roof is old, means you cannot get it approved for replacement from your insurance company! We will give you our opinion of the likelihood of replacement and we will attend the meeting with the adjuster to answer any questions and point out any damage that they may miss during their inspection, but it is ultimately up to your insurance company to decide whether or not your roof will qualify for replacement due to storm damage.

Most times, if the insurance company denies your roof for replacement, the claim will get closed out without any consequences because storm damage from wind or hail is an act of god and not negligence on the part of the property owner.

Since the claim being filed is regarding damage caused by the elements and not by negligence on the part of the property owner, the chances of your rates going up are very low. And even if they do, the rate increase is typically minimal and only for a few years and will save you many thousands of dollars on a needed roof replacement for a rate increase of only a few hundred dollars.
